Sometimes, the best stories are Underreported. Then again, most of the time, they're not reported at all.

I'm a trained reporter. I'm capable of looking at events objectively, even when they're things I care about. Obviously, I didn't go to the Bush protest as a reporter, but after reading many of the mainstream media reports I said, "HOLY FUCKING CRAP!!! THIS STORY IS MORE SPUN THAN CHARLOTTE'S WEB!"
Portland IndyMedia has more to say about this. Obviously, they're not a professional or unbiased source either, but they don't pretend to be professional and dispassionate. I'm sorry, but my educated opinion is that the American media is pretty much bullshit. [comment] posted by Mark Wilson 11:40 PM |

I just finished writing about Thursday's protests in my K5 diary.

Times like these make me want for a protest buddy.

Princeton Review's formula for calculating the nation's best party school probably looks something like this: ([riot probability] + [frat boy hijinks]) * ([alcohol related deaths] + [date rape]) / [prof to student ratio]
Nevertheless, it's all pretty darn depressing. Then again, things could be worse. [comment] posted by Mark Wilson 4:02 PM |
Home Star Runner is like Brak, Mexican wrestling, Pokemon, and Saturday Night Live (the good years) all rolled into one tasty Flash animated treat.

Yea, though I walk through the silicon valley of the shadow of death... Looks like my guestbook host is headed for greener pastures, or at least ones with actual business plans. So, I'm taking this opportunity to add a commenting service to my web log entries. Say hi, share your opinion about a link or just goof around. Click the comment link, but try to play nice kiddies, I don't want to have to turn this car around.
