I guess it's about time that I decide whether or not to participate in NaNoWriMo or not. I suppose writing a 50,000 word novel for the heck of it in a month would have been a lot easier to schedule if I hadn't started curing my depression. Oh woe!

As one educated Palestinian young woman from East Jerusalem said when she heard of the event, "A play? In Gaza? About feminism? With Palestinian actresses? Unbelievable!"

US ranks 17th in press freedom. I, for one, welcome our new Canadian overlords.

I've been pretty busy. It's all in my K5 diary, except I was also working for a while at my dad's office. Here's a flash game that will keep you busy, too.

Okay, first of all, SimGirl is a total tease. 98 days. 98 days! I took her on a five day space vacation for crying out loud and she can't put out just a little? I mean, fine, 98 days is probably considered in some circles to be a little slutty or whatever, but the thing is, she'd like undress in front of me all the time and then not even let me kiss her. What's up with that? And she's totally obsessed about her weight and breast size. It's like, HELLLO, how shallow are you? I bet SimGirl doesn't even know what day my birthday is on, but she's so insecure she has to be constantly reminded that I will remember her's.

I can't believe I beat up thugs and went to jail for that woman.

Science fiction and fantasy writers are out there trying to stop our descent into the timeline of an utterly dystopian war-torn future. But you know it's really bad times when even the surrealists come down to reality long enough to protest the war.

So, if anybody out there has any advice on how to fight a ticket from Critical Mass without a lawyer, I'm all ears. I'm pessimistic about my chances, but I want to make a good showing no matter what.

Oh... dear... God... I hope I never have the opportunity to use this knowledge. I wonder if I took a really, really big blanket as carry-on and tied each of the corners to my arms and legs, would anybody be suspicious?

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that all the information I've absorbed by browsing the Worst-Case Scenerio handbook will fail to come to my mind when it's needed.
